This is a great site for teaching about the Foucault Pendulum and how it can show that the earth rotates.

I want to use blabberize.com for my first grade students to hear themselves read. They will import a picture into blabberize and they will read something orally that will be recorded. I will help them (as needed) to put the two parts together so they can listen to themselves in front of the whole class. It will help us to work on reading fluency.
I am also planning to use PhotoStory from Microsoft. students will take pictures of a tree over the course of the year. We will put the photos into PhotoStory then they will dictate something about each picture throughout the year.
I am hoping to use something in Thinkfinity to use as a computer center that is math related. Christine - grade 1 Madison Elementary
